Lisa Sayles
Lisa Sayles is a Communication Studies Professor and Education Consultant with over 20 years of teaching experience. Sayles is passionate about innovative teaching and learning methods and has extensive experience with distance education modalities, including training and certifying instructors for online college instruction and evaluating courses for the OEI-CVC California. As the Education Director for IMI, she leads curriculum and education project development and program management at IMI, and has contributed to large EU-funded projects, such as Project Ô.
Sayles received her MS in Communication Studies from Portland State University and an MFA in Visual Art from the Art Institute of Boston. She specializes in visual communication, interpersonal communication and conflict resolution, group and team communication and problem-solving, intercultural communication, and public speaking. In addition to academic teaching, she consults and conducts training and development workshops on communication and education.
