Pablo Kawai is a multimedia designer with extensive international experience in visual communications, digital production, and multimedia strategy, supporting research innovation and evidence-based impact.
At the Institute for Methods Innovation (IMI), Pablo leads video post-production, web development, and brand strategy, supporting complex projects with clear, effective media. He designs and produces multimedia assets across video, visual communications, online content, and print.
Pablo holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition (with Honours) from Universidad de las Américas Puebla and completed postgraduate studies in composition and electronic music at the Accademia Internazionale della Musica in Milan. He also received specialist training under Karlheinz Stockhausen in Germany.
Pablo has worked with organizations across Japan, Mexico, and internationally, managing social media strategies, multimedia campaigns, and digital content development. His professional history includes senior roles in e-commerce operations for high-quality Japanese brands, international social media channel management, and independent video production services for clients across sectors.
At IMI, Pablo applies his experience to enhance the reach and effectiveness of research impact activities, developing digital and visual materials that support complex communication needs. His previous work includes managing and growing online communities to audiences of over 65,000 subscribers and producing video content for international organizations.
