Pablo Kawai is a music composer and multimedia artist, with a diverse background that spans several countries and disciplines. Having studied in Italy, Germany, and Mexico, Pablo honed his craft under the guidance of renowned composers like Karlheinz Stockhausen, Giovanni Verrando, and Tristan Murail. Over the years, his compositions have won numerous awards and found applications in TV, multimedia, video games, and radio. His passion for combining music with visual art began early, leading him to experiment with video projections and later move into TV production. Pablo’s career took another creative turn when he worked on the globally broadcasted show Culture: Japan, which explored Japanese pop culture.
Building on his multidisciplinary expertise, Pablo then took charge of the international project “Kusuyama”, that promoted high-quality Japanese crafts, particularly modernized items like maki-e lacquer iPhone cases. This experience helped him refine his marketing and design skills, particularly within influencer marketing. It also sparked the creation of his own brand, RoYuMi, which shares Japanese culture and lifestyle with Spanish-speaking communities around the world. Pablo’s broad skill set extends into video production and post-production, having worked as a contractor on projects involving AI, YC startups, online education, and fintech, further establishing his reputation as a versatile and creative professional.
