Communication Intern

Logan contributes to the Institute for Methods Innovation’s (IMI) communications and outreach efforts, applying a strong foundation in communication studies, media production and public engagement.

Logan contributes to IMI’s work by drawing on practical experience in digital media, group facilitation, and persuasive communication to support methodological rigor, inclusive public engagement, and broader accessibility of research. His interests in policy communication, audiovisual storytelling, and inclusive approaches to science engagement align closely with IMI’s mission. He holds a BA in Communication Studies from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Honor Society.

Expertise and experience

Logan has worked in a range of academic communication roles, including managing departmental social media, leading student welcome campaigns, and supporting university-wide communications strategy through web and social media usability assessments. His experience also includes serving as a communication tutor and student government officer, where he developed skills in information design, meeting facilitation, and administrative coordination.​

English (native) and Spanish (professional-level fluency).
